The 2010 New England Pirate Faire drew to a close at 5pm on June 27th after a successful 2-weekend run. Pastimes would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all of the patrons who braved the heat and sunshine, to come and enjoy the New England Pirate Faire. Hundreds of people attended the “Day of Adventure” over two weekends, and in addition to the day-long adventure story, were treated to music, comedy, fire-eating, swordplay, knife-throwing, puppetry, magic, balloon sculpture, face-painting, arts and crafts, the possibly first-ever three-way whip fight, and several hapless souls “walking the plank” into Gloucester Harbor.
